Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions, functional limitations, and mobility. Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment and patient goals. Utilize therapeutic techniques including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold therapy. Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries. Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, patients, and families regarding treatment plans and discharge recommendations. Educate patients and families on the therapeutic process, home exercise programs, and injury prevention. Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a physical therapy curriculum accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) or the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy (CAPT)
- Hold a valid State Physical Therapy License
