Job Summary
Physical Therapist provides assessment, planning and execution of rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformity across the full continuum of care. Responsible for treatment planning and provision of care, patient assessment and collaboration with physicians and families, documentation of evaluation and plan of care, discharge instructions, education for patients and families, and ongoing communication with the care team. Must adhere to regulatory standards, maintain licensure, and demonstrate effective communication, ethical practice, and teamwork in a patient-centered environment. Requires completing mandatory education and competencies to maintain licensure; role emphasizes education, customer service, process improvement, and adherence to infection prevention practices.
