Job Summary
Evaluates patients regarding a wide range of therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation of physical and developmental disorders. Oversees and coordinates a comprehensive rehabilitation program to support patient independence and aligns care goals across inpatient, outpatient, long-term, community-based, and home health settings. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, analyzes clinical data, and communicates discharge goals. Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development principles across the lifespan; ensures patient advocacy and optimal use of resources to maximize independence. Requires basic computer skills and understanding of care setting regulations. EPIC electronic charting is used for documentation; roles may include involvement with night/weekend shifts and potential lead responsibilities for eligible positions.
Required Qualifications
- Less than one year experience in physical therapy
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Doctorate of Physical Therapy preferred
