Job Summary
Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients across inpatient, outpatient, long-term care, and home health settings. Role emphasizes restoring function, independence, and quality of life through hands-on rehabilitation and a range of therapeutic interventions. Requires detailed knowledge of physical therapy, data interpretation, and adherence to setting-specific rules and regulations. Coordinates with multidisciplinary teams, promotes patient/caregiver self-determination, and supports discharge goals. Setting may include varied shifts; involves patient advocacy and collaboration with multiple disciplines. Doctorate of Physical Therapy preferred; Bachelor's degree required; less than one year of PT experience. Required Qualifications
- Physical Therapist degree (Bachelor's in Physical Therapy or equivalent)
- Less than one year of experience in physical therapy
- Knowledge of EPIC or willingness to learn (electronic charting system mentioned)
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of growth and development across life span
- Ability to evaluate and treat a wide range of therapeutic interventions
