Physical Therapist

Physical Therapist at Socorro General Hospital providing evaluation and therapeutic interventions to restore function across inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, serving patients of all ages with diverse diagnoses in a rural hospital setting. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, selecting and delivering a wide range of therapeutic interventions, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team, promoting patient/caregiver self-determination, ensuring a comprehensive rehabilitation program, and facilitating discharge planning. Requires knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan, basic computer skills, EPIC charting, and understanding regulatory requirements; licensure as a Physical Therapist in NM is required and less than one year of experience is acceptable. This PRN role involves varied days and hours with on-site work and opportunities for scholarship, tuition reimbursement, and loan forgiveness where applicable. AA/EOE/VET/DISABLED.
