Job Summary
Physical Therapist at Socorro General Hospital (PRN, per diem) responsible for evaluating patients and delivering therapeutic interventions to support rehabilitation of physical and developmental disorders across inpatient, outpatient, and varying care settings. Work within a dedicated multidisciplinary team to restore function, promote independence, and meet discharge goals. Requires knowledge of physical therapy principles across the lifespan, basic computer and EPIC charting skills, and NM licensure. Provides patient advocacy, coordinates care with other disciplines, and supports a comprehensive rehabilitation program. Eligible for tuition/certification reimbursement and participation in safety and wellness initiatives; position may involve varied days/hours.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Licensed Physical Therapist in NM
- Less than one year experience in physical therapy
- Doctorate of Physical Therapy preferred
