Job Summary
Physical Therapist responsible for evaluating patients and delivering a broad range of therapeutic interventions to rehabilitate physical and developmental disorders across inpatient, outpatient, long-term care, community-based, and home health settings. Role emphasizes restoring function, independence, and quality of life through hands-on care, collaborative problem-solving, and comprehensive rehabilitation programs; includes coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, guiding discharge goals, promoting patient/caregiver self-determination, and advocating for patients. Requires knowledge of physical therapy principles, growth and development across the lifespan, basic computer skills, and understanding of applicable regulations. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy with Doctorate of Physical Therapy preferred; less than one year of PT experience qualifies for the role.
