Job Summary
Physical Therapist at Socorro General Hospital to evaluate patients and deliver therapeutic interventions that support rehabilitation of physical function and developmental disorders. Works within a multidisciplinary team across inpatient, outpatient, long-term care, and home health settings. Responsible for evaluating and treating patients, applying a wide variety of therapeutic interventions, and coordinating care to meet discharge goals. Emphasizes growth and development across the life span, patient advocacy, and optimal independence through resource utilization. Requires basic computer skills and knowledge of regulatory rules for the setting; EPIC charting system used. PRN with varied days and hours in a rural hospital environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Doctorate of Physical Therapy preferred
- Physical Therapist license-NM Regulation & Licensing Board
- Less than one year experience in physical therapy
