Job Summary
Physical Therapist at Socorro General Hospital in a rural setting providing evaluation and therapeutic interventions to support rehabilitation of physical and developmental disorders. Responsibilities include evaluating patients across inpatient to outpatient rehabilitation, applying a wide variety of therapeutic interventions, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team, and promoting independence through optimized use of outside resources. The role requires knowledge of growth and development across the patient lifespan, basic computer skills, and adherence to setting regulations. Emphasis on patient advocacy, discharge planning, and comprehensive rehabilitation to improve quality of life. Role includes EPIC charting and may involve varied days and hours as part of PRN/FTE arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Doctorate of Physical Therapy preferred
- Physical Therapist license-NM Regulation & Licensing Board
- Less than one year experience in physical therapy
Desired Qualifications
- Doctorate of Physical Therapy preferred
- License in NM (Physical Therapy)
- Less than one year experience in physical therapy
- Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy
- Basic computer skills
- EPIC charting experience (preferred)
