Job Summary
Physical Therapist at Socorro General Hospital provides evaluation and therapeutic interventions across the continuum of care from acute inpatient to outpatient rehabilitation, joining a dedicated multidisciplinary team in a rural setting to restore function and improve quality of life for patients of all ages. The role involves applying a wide range of therapeutic interventions, coordinating care with other disciplines, supporting discharge planning, and promoting patient/caregiver self-determination. EPIC charting is used for documentation; licensure in NM is required; the position is PRN with varied days/hours across settings including inpatient, outpatient, long term care, community-based care, and home health care.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy
- Doctorate of Physical Therapy preferred
- Physical Therapist license-NM Regulation & Licensing Board
- Less than one year experience in physical therapy
