Physical Therapist

Physical Therapist needed at Socorro General Hospital to evaluate patients and deliver therapeutic interventions across inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation settings. The role involves working within a multidisciplinary team to restore function and improve quality of life, serving patients from diverse diagnoses from acute inpatient to outpatient rehabilitation. Responsibilities include performing evaluations, selecting and applying a wide range of therapeutic interventions, understanding growth and development over the lifespan, overseeing a comprehensive rehabilitation program, promoting patient/caregiver self-determination, coordinating with various care disciplines, discharge planning, and patient advocacy. Qualifications emphasize a Bachelor's in Physical Therapy, NM PT license, and less than one year of PT experience; Doctorate of Physical Therapy preferred. Compensation range provided: $37.29 to $56.92 per hour (annualized and converted to USD), with PRN, varied shifts, and additional benefits described by Presbyterian Healthcare Services.
