Job Summary
Conduct outpatient physical therapy services in home settings for older adults, evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic techniques including gait training, manual therapy, and adaptive device fitting. Instruct patients and caregivers on mobility skills, perform falls assessments, and make referrals to other disciplines to address comprehensive patient needs. Supervise therapy assistants and students, ensure adherence to clinical documentation and safety standards, and maintain equipment. Work a flexible 35-hour schedule with a $5,000 bonus, supported by a clinical mentorship program and free continuing education.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license eligibility
- Must have a Master's degree in Physical Therapy
- Must have a Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Must have a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience
- The qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy
- Must have a valid driver's license or reliable, independent transportation to and from the patients' residence
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
