Job Summary
Deliver therapeutic procedures and full-range therapy services to patients referred from Orthopedics, General Medicine, Primary Care, and Rheumatology. Administer treatments using equipment such as game ready, blood flow restriction units, mechanical traction, electrical stimulation, and ultrasound machines while evaluating effects and adjusting protocols. Instruct patients on home treatment procedures and evaluate, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices. Provide documented treatment and discharge recommendations to staff in routine, emergency, and special cases. Offer clinical direction to assistants, technicians, aides, and students. Participate in rehabilitation team meetings, seminars, quality assurance meetings, and peer review activities. HCWs in Pain Management also engage in multidisciplinary teams, ECHO tele-mentoring training, and tele-medicine consults. Perform clerical and scheduling duties to support clinic operations. Maintain active licensure and provide proof of professional development through continuing education.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy degree
- Master's degree in physical therapy
- Baccalaureate degree in physical therapy
- Proof of professional development through continuing education within the last twenty-four (24) months
- Active licensed as a Physical Therapist
- US Citizen
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year experience as an outpatient orthopedic physical therapist within the preceding two (2) years
- Graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy program within the preceding year
