Physical Therapist

The Physical Therapist develops and implements outpatient physical therapy programs to restore function and improve movement, coordinates care across an interdisciplinary team, and may oversee physical therapy assistants, rehab aides, trainers, or other allied staff. Responsibilities include meeting with patients to assess medical history and current ability, designing rehabilitative treatment plans to maximize function or reduce pain, applying therapeutic procedures and exercise, periodically re-evaluating patient status, educating patients and families about the recovery process, maintaining patient confidentiality and safety, ensuring compliance with Medicare and other quality initiatives, and contributing to a collaborative care environment with a focus on professional growth and continuous education.
