Job Summary
Physical Therapist develops and implements physical therapy programs to restore function and improve movement, coordinating care across an interdisciplinary team and supervising physical therapy assistants, rehab aides, trainers, or other allied health professionals. Responsibilities include meeting patients to gather history and assess current ability; using therapeutic procedures and exercises to restore movement, strength, or flexibility; re-evaluating status and adjusting care plans; educating patients and families about expectations; maintaining patient confidentiality and safety; ensuring Medicare and quality-compliance standards; establishing and enforcing safe, legal workflows; and performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications include graduation from an approved PT program, licensure, CPR certification, and demonstrated skills in evaluation, care planning, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved school of Physical Therapy
- Physical Therapy license
- Current CPR certification
