Job Summary
The Physical Therapist will conduct patient evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, and administer therapeutic exercises and modalities. Responsibilities include documenting treatment progress, managing discharge of patients, maintaining treatment areas and equipment, and supporting staff training. The role requires a current state license, clinical experience, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications
- Current State License as a Physical Therapist
- 1-3 years of clinical experience in the outpatient setting preferred
- Effective communication skills (written, verbal, non-verbal or electronic)
- Ability to listen to and address concerns of patients and peers
- Effective decision-making skills
- Flexibility in response to changing organizational objectives
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize work based on department demands
- Behavior that protects safety of self/others and department equipment
- Willingness to attend continuing education courses and provide education to staff
