Job Summary
Provide pediatric physical therapy services within a daycare setting, allowing children to receive care during their normal daily routines for more natural, real-world progress. Partner with a multidisciplinary team including OT, SLP, teachers, and caregivers to deliver comprehensive, coordinated care. Review each child's medical history, developmental milestones, and family concerns to guide evidence-based, individualized care. Evaluate movement, strength, coordination, balance, and functional skills through play-based and standardized assessments in the child's everyday environment. Create individualized, family-centered treatment plans that support development and participation in daily daycare activities and routines. Monitor progress closely and adjust the plan of care to meet each child's evolving needs. Partner with families and caregivers by providing education, home exercise programs, and strategies to support progress outside of therapy sessions.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Physical Therapist (or ability to obtain licensure in the state of practice)
- Passion for evidence-based, patient centered care
