Job Summary
Provide various methods of Physical Therapy and supervise PT Assistants and PT Aides under the direction of the Clinic Director or Manager. Serve as a resource for staff while treating patients across all age groups from pediatric to geriatric. Maintain knowledge of regulations, QA procedures, and quality patient care standards, completing required department-specific training. Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy, a Texas PT license, and Basic Life Support certification. This PRN role at OakBend Medical Center in Pearland supports the hospital's No Wait ER, trauma center, and stroke program.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy
- Eligible for or licensed by Texas Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy Examiners
- Basic Life Support certification
- Knowledge of regulations, QA and procedures, and quality patient care
- Successful completion department specific and/or hospital required training courses
- Ability to treat patients of all ages from pediatric to geriatric
