Job Summary
Provide various methods of Physical Therapy and supervise PT Assistants and Aides under the direction of the Clinic Director or Manager, utilizing physician orders. Treat patients of all ages from pediatric to geriatric while adhering to regulations, QA procedures, and quality patient care standards. Maintain eligibility or hold a Texas Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy Examiners license and complete required department-specific training. This role supports OakBend Medical Center's mission to deliver exceptional care at three hospitals and specialty centers, including their No Wait ER and stroke program.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy
- Eligible for or licensed by Texas Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy Examiners
- Basic Life Support certification
- Knowledge of regulations, QA and procedures, and quality patient care
- Successful completion department specific and/or hospital required training courses
- Must be able to treat patients of all ages from pediatric to geriatric
