Job Summary
Provide various methods of physical therapy and supervise staff under physician orders. Serve as a resource person for PT Assistants and PT Aides while treating patients across all ages from pediatric to geriatric. Maintain knowledge of regulations, QA procedures, and quality patient care standards, completing required department-specific training. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy, be eligible for the Texas Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy Examiners, and possess Basic Life Support certification. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy
- Eligible for or licensed by Texas Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy Examiners
- Basic Life Support certification
- Knowledge of regulations, QA and procedures, and quality patient care
- Successful completion department specific and/or hospital required training courses
- Ability to treat patients of all ages from pediatric to geriatric
