Job Summary
Outpatient Physical Therapist providing orthopedic evaluation and treatment with emphasis on pre-operative conditioning, post-surgical rehabilitation, and manual therapy. Responsibilities include comprehensive PT evaluations, developing individualized plans of care, implementing evidence-based manual therapy (soft tissue, joint mobilization, myofascial release, neuromuscular techniques), designing progressive therapeutic exercise programs, patient education on injury prevention and home exercise programs, interdisciplinary communication, and thorough documentation in line with clinic/payer guidelines. Focus areas include prehabilitation, post-operative rehab (joint replacement, spine, shoulder, knee, sports), functional movement restoration, and return-to-activity training. Qualifications include an accredited PT program graduate, active licensure or eligibility, orthopedic assessment proficiency, manual therapy interest, strong communication, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Preferred experience in outpatient orthopedics, post-surgical rehab, and manual therapy CE.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Strong foundation in orthopedic assessment and treatment
- Advanced training or strong interest in manual therapy techniques
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and clinical reasoning skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment
- Outpatient orthopedic experience (preferred)
- Post-surgical rehabilitation experience (preferred)
- Manual therapy certifications or continuing education (preferred)
