Job Summary
Conduct physical therapy assessments and treatment for outpatient orthopedic, neurologic, and oncology patients at the DeMatteis Center. Educate patients and family members on care plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans and facilitate transition planning. Maintain a New York State Physical Therapist license and complete Basic Life Support certification within 60 days of hire. Requires a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy or higher, with a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred, and at least one year of experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy
- Master's degree or higher in Physical Therapy
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
- NYS Physical Therapist license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- BLS required within 60 days of hire
