Job Summary
Independent Contractor Physical Therapist provides patient evaluations and develops individualized treatment plans, delivering therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence. Maintains progress monitoring and plan modifications, educates patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention, and ensures accurate documentation in compliance with professional standards. Communicates effectively with physicians, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary team while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care with flexibility to accommodate part-time or full-time opportunities in the Fredericksburg, VA area.
Required Qualifications
- Active Virginia Physical Therapist license in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred
- Home health or outpatient experience is a plus, but not required
