Physical Therapist - Part-Time

Part-time Physical Therapist needed at Wellstar Spalding Out-Patient Rehab Center to assess, plan, organize and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength and decrease deformity, while complying with regulatory standards. Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, selecting activities to progress patient goals, educating patients and families, providing discharge instructions, documenting evaluations and plans of care, and collaborating with physicians, staff, and resources to support rehabilitation services. Requires effective communication, patient education, documentation, and adherence to ethical standards and infection prevention. Licensure in physical therapy and BLS certification required; doctoral/master/bachelor’s PT degree as applicable.
