Job Summary
Provide various methods of Physical Therapy under the supervision of the Clinic Director or Manager, adhering to physician orders while serving as a resource for PT Assistants and Aides. Treat patients of all ages from pediatric to geriatric, applying knowledge of regulations, QA, and quality patient care procedures. Maintain eligibility or licensure with the Texas Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy Examiners and hold Basic Life Support certification. Complete department-specific and hospital-required training courses. Join the OakBend Medical Center team at three hospitals and specialty centers, supporting our signature No Wait ER, advanced trauma center, and stroke program.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy
- Eligible for or licensed by Texas Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy Examiners
- Basic Life Support certification
- Knowledge of regulations, QA and procedures, and quality patient care
- Successful completion department specific and/or hospital required training courses
- Ability to treat patients of all ages from pediatric to geriatric
