Job Summary
The Physical Therapist evaluates, plans, and administers therapeutic procedures in physical medicine and rehabilitation as prescribed by a referring physician. This role establishes individualized physical therapy goals, provides treatments, and regularly reassesses patient progress, documenting all findings accurately. Responsibilities include conducting thorough evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, administering safe therapies, reassessing and adjusting plans as patient progress dictates, documenting evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and billing; educating patients and families on plans and exercises; operating therapy equipment safely; maintaining a clean, safe environment; collaborating with referring physicians and interdisciplinary teams; tailoring care to patient demographics; ensuring compliance with safety, infection control, and risk management procedures; and performing other duties as assigned. Requires Doctorate in Physical Therapy and 0-2 years of PT experience; active PT license in state of employment and BCLS within 30 days of hire. Part-time schedule with flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) required
- PT - Physical Therapist license in the state of employment required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire required
- 0-2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting required
- Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles, therapeutic techniques, and safety standards
