Job Summary
Senior Physical Therapist responsible for the evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning of all patients referred for services; works to help patients progress to their highest level of physical, cognitive, linguistic, and swallowing function; collaborates with other allied health professionals to coordinate treatment plans; participates in education and teaching commensurate with a novice clinician; supports staff orientation, mentorship, and competency assessment; provides therapy evaluations and documentation across acute care, skilled facility, acute rehab, and outpatient settings; maintains compliance with Jefferson Health values and participates in program development or performance improvement activities; performs additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program
- Master’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program
- Doctorate from an accredited Physical Therapy Program
- PT - Licensed Physical Therapist - State of Pennsylvania
- BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
- Ability to lift and carry 40-50 lbs; frequent standing/walking; patient transfers up to 50 lbs
