Job Summary
Evaluate residents and develop individualized therapy treatment plans; help residents improve mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and independence; collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, families, and interdisciplinary teams; supervise Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs), aides, and students; participate in care conferences, rehab meetings, and quality improvement initiatives; educate residents and families on exercises, safety techniques, and fall prevention; maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with regulations; assist with restorative nursing programs and staff training; recommend adaptive equipment and mobility aids to improve resident independence.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of California
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
- Current license in good standing
