Job Summary
Screen, test, evaluate, diagnose, and treat injuries, diseases, and disabilities using physical therapy procedures and modalities in accordance with standard practices. Conduct evaluations and treatments based on patient assessments, physician referrals, and specific care plan goals while consulting, educating, and training patients, families, and caregivers. Manage all aspects of patient care and supervision, including overseeing assistants, aides, office staff, and students to ensure high-quality, patient-centered service delivery. Maintain thorough and timely patient records, complete accurate billing, and participate in quality improvement processes, utilization review audits, and interdisciplinary meetings. Contribute to program development and marketing strategies to grow the physical therapy program. This role supports the Intermountain Health mission and requires a current Physical Therapist license, BLS certification, and the ability to lift heavy items and navigate busy clinical environments.
Required Qualifications
- Current Physical Therapist license in states where you work.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
- Current driver's license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Possess skill sets and experience with target population of job setting.
