Job Summary
Conduct screening, testing, evaluating, diagnosing, and treatment of injuries, diseases, and disabilities using physical therapy procedures and modalities. Consult, educate, and train patients, families, and caregivers while collaborating with care teams to deliver patient-centered care. Manage all aspects of patient care and supervision, including overseeing assistants, aides, office staff, and students. Develop care plans with specific goals based on patient assessments and participate in interdisciplinary meetings and quality improvement processes. Maintain thorough patient records, complete accurate billing, and contribute to program development strategies. Perform duties in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, with a scheduled 20-hour weekly week.
Required Qualifications
- Current Physical Therapist license in states where you work
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Current driver's license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Possess skill sets and experience with target population of job setting
- Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy
- Ability to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients
- Ability to bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment
- Ability to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients
- Ability to navigate crowded and busy rooms
- Ability to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time
- Basic Computer skills
