Job Summary
Screen, test, evaluate, diagnose, and treat injuries, diseases, and disabilities using physical therapy procedures and modalities while consulting, educating, and training patients, families, and caregivers. Collaborate with care teams and stakeholders to deliver quality, patient-centered care, manage all aspects of patient care including supervising assistants, aides, office staff, and students. Conduct evaluations and treatments according to professional standards, develop care plans with specific goals, and keep thorough, timely patient records. Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare providers about patient needs and goals. Participate in patient care conferences, interdisciplinary meetings, and quality improvement processes, including utilization review audits and program development strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Current Physical Therapist license in states where you work
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Current driver's license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Possess skill sets and experience with target population of job setting
