Job Summary
Screen, test, evaluate, diagnose, and treat injuries, diseases, and disabilities using physical therapy procedures and modalities while consulting, educating, and training patients, families, and caregivers. Collaborate with care teams to deliver patient-centered care, develop specific care plans based on patient assessments, and supervise assistants, aides, and students. Maintain thorough patient records, complete billing accurately, and participate in quality improvement processes, utilization review audits, and interdisciplinary meetings. Contribute to program development strategies to grow the physical therapy program. Perform duties in a busy outpatient setting requiring patient ambulation, equipment manipulation, and extended standing, adhering to Intermountain Health mission and values.
Required Qualifications
- Current Physical Therapist license in states where you work.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
- Current driver's license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Possess skill sets and experience with target population of job setting.
