Job Summary
Screen, test, evaluate, diagnose, and treat injuries, diseases, and disabilities using physical therapy procedures and modalities. Conduct evaluations and treatments according to professional standards, develop care plans with specific goals, and consult with patients, families, and caregivers. Manage all aspects of patient care and education, including supervising assistants, aides, office staff, and students. Collaborate with care teams to deliver quality, patient-centered care while participating in patient care conferences and interdisciplinary meetings. This role supports the growth of the physical therapy program through marketing strategies and quality improvement processes. Candidates must meet established productivity standards, maintain thorough patient records, and complete accurate billing. A current Physical Therapist license, BLS certification, and ability to lift heavy items and navigate crowded rooms are required.
Required Qualifications
- Current Physical Therapist license in states where you work.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
- Current driver's license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
