Job Summary
Evaluate patient needs for physical therapy and develop personalized treatment plans based on physician directives and agency policy. Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients while instructing family members, PTAs, and caregivers in therapeutic techniques. Manage caseloads to deliver thoughtful, individualized treatment within a multidisciplinary team environment. This role supports a growing organization offering a mentorship program, structured leadership development, and a Touro OCS residency partnership. Candidates must be licensed in New York and hold First Aid, AED, and CPR certifications. The position includes access to AI-assisted documentation tools and unlimited online CEUs.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of New York or eligible
- Ability to evaluate a patient's need for physical therapy and develop an appropriate treatment plan
- Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan, agency policy and professional standards of care
- Experience instructing family members, PTA's, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate physical therapy techniques
- Mandatory Certifications: First Aid, AED, & CPR Certifications
