Job Summary
Evaluate patients' needs for physical therapy and develop appropriate treatment plans based on physician care plans and professional standards. Provide care and treatment to patients while instructing family members, physical therapy assistants, and home health aides in appropriate techniques. Manage caseloads to deliver thoughtful, individualized treatment within a multidisciplinary clinic offering state-of-the-art equipment. This role includes mandatory First Aid, AED, and CPR certifications. Licensed Physical Therapists in New York or eligible candidates are required. Full-time employment offers a base salary of $85,000-$105,000 plus incentive compensation, 401(k) matching, and generous PTO. The organization provides a mentorship program, leadership development, and funding for specialty certifications like OCS.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of New York or eligible
- Ability to evaluate a patient's need for physical therapy and develop an appropriate treatment plan
- Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan, agency policy and professional standards of care
- Experience instructing family members, PTA's, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate physical therapy techniques
- Mandatory Certifications: First Aid, AED, & CPR Certifications
