Job Summary
Conduct objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients under general supervision. Directly supervise patients while overseeing rehabilitation technicians and PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts. Perform duties consistent with Mercy Service Standards, including lifting up to 50 lbs and prolonged standing during shifts. Requires a current Physical Therapy license, BLS certification, and six months to one year of experience with adult and geriatric care. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy
- Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice
- BLS certified
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
Desired Qualifications
- Six months to one year experience
- Experience with care for adult and geriatric patients
