Job Summary
Evaluate and treat patients in an outpatient setting using a human movement system framework, documenting functional limitations and progress with standardized tools. Complete required documentation including initial evaluations, daily progress notes, care plans, and discharge summaries in compliance with department standards. Communicate effectively with the interprofessional medical team, patients, and families while participating in clinical site education for assigned students. Perform routine chart reviews, contribute to performance improvement projects, and deliver in-service presentations to staff. Actively engage in community outreach through lectures and classes to serve as a resource for community-based education.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy program
- One to two years related experience
- Current California State License
- Current BLS Certification
