Job Summary
Physical Therapist provides evaluation, planning, and implementation of rehabilitation programs to improve mobility, alleviate pain, and prevent deformities. Collaborates with physicians to develop and update treatment plans and discharge plans; develops and adjusts care plans with input from patients and families; offers ongoing education to patients and families; documents evaluations and treatment plans per departmental guidelines; adheres to ethical standards, confidentiality, attendance, and infection prevention. Requires graduation from an accredited physical therapy program with a Doctorate, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy and active licensure; BLS required. Position supports professional development and participation in orientation and mandatory hospital/system trainings; work locations include Hiram, GA with opportunities across multiple locations; typical duties include patient assessment, treatment planning, care provision, documentation, and delivering high-quality patient service in a hospital setting.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Master's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy
- Physical Therapist license
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Effective communication skills
