Job Summary
Physical Therapist Outpatient (Ortho) evaluates, plans, and implements rehabilitation programs to enhance mobility, relieve pain, and restore function. Collaborates with physicians to develop and update treatment and discharge plans, creates and adjusts care plans with input from patients and families, provides ongoing education to patients/families, documents evaluations and plans per departmental guidelines, and supports staff with rehabilitation services. Requires graduate-level PT education (Doctorate/Professional degree) and licensure, along with BLS; emphasizes ethical standards, confidentiality, and customer service while ensuring infection prevention and cost-effective care. Emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration, patient-centered goals, discharge planning, and professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy OR Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy OR Doctorate in Physical Therapy
- Physical Therapist license (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Effective communication skills
- Customer service focused

- Basic computer skills
