Job Summary
Collaborate with physicians to develop, evaluate, and update treatment programs, care plans, goals, and discharge plans based on patient needs. Implement and adjust physical therapy treatment plans while selecting activities to help patients achieve their goals. Provide ongoing education and training to patients and families, including discharge instructions and referrals to community resources. Document evaluations, treatment plans, and each session according to departmental guidelines. Uphold ethical standards, maintain confidentiality of patient information, and follow infection prevention protocols. Complete core and annual competencies to maintain licensure. Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Master's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy
- Physical Therapist license
- Basic Life Support certification
