Job Summary
Restores patient physical function by interpreting PT evaluations and tests, establishing treatment goals and plans, administering manual exercises, and guiding patients in activities and use of assistive devices. Supervises Physical Therapy Assistants and PTAs, oversees student trainers, and participates in program development and research as needed. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, assists in discharge planning, and records clinical data in the medical record. Requires ability to supervise, coach, and motivate, with strong communication and case-management skills; must hold an active physical therapy license in MA and have training suitable for outpatient rehabilitation.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Physical Therapist in MA
- Massachusetts Physical Therapy license
- State license required
- 2-3 years experience in hospital/rehab/ambulatory setting preferred
- Pelvic Health experience preferred
