Job Summary
Interpret physical therapy evaluations and test results to determine treatment goals and plans. Administer manual exercises and instruct patients in performing physical activities to restore physical functioning. Evaluate and treat a variety of diagnoses for infants, children, adults, and older adults while utilizing correct body mechanics. Resolve biophysical, psychological, educational, and environmental needs of patients and significant others. Maintain current California physical therapy licensure and hold CPR certification. Perform duties in a full-time, day-shift setting within the outpatient medical office buildings of the regional healthcare network.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to perform patient care utilizing correct body mechanics.
- Competent to evaluate and treat a variety of diagnoses for patients who may be infants, children, adults or older adults.
- CPR certification.
- Licensed as a physical therapist in California, or eligible to take the examination for licensure in the State of California with PT license applicant document on file.
- Must maintain current California physical therapy license.
