Job Summary

Conduct screening, testing, evaluating, diagnosing, and treatment of injuries, diseases, and disabilities using physical therapy procedures and modalities. Consult, educate, and train patients, families, and caregivers while collaborating with care teams to deliver patient-centered care. Develop care plans with specific goals based on patient assessments and ensure smooth operations of rehabilitation services. Manage all aspects of patient care and education, including supervising assistants, aides, office staff, and students. Keep thorough patient records, complete billing accurately, and participate in quality improvement processes and utilization review audits. Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare providers about patient needs and goals. Required Qualifications

  • Current Physical Therapist license in states where you work
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
  • Current driver's license
  • Reliable transportation
  • Acceptable driving record
  • Ability to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies
  • Ability to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations
  • Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy
  • Ability to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients
  • Ability to bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment including heavy items
  • Ability to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment
  • Ability to navigate crowded and busy rooms
  • Ability to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time
  • Part-Time (24/week) availability
  • Flexible weekday shifts - no weekends or holidays
