Job Summary
Screen, test, evaluate, diagnose, and treat injuries, diseases, and disabilities using physical therapy procedures and modalities. Consult, educate, and train patients, families, and caregivers while collaborating with care teams to deliver patient-centered care. Conduct evaluations and treatments according to professional standards, develop care plans with specific goals, and keep thorough, timely patient records. Complete patient billing accurately, communicate effectively with patients and providers, and manage patient care and education including supervising assistants and students. Participate in utilization review audits, quality improvement processes, interdisciplinary meetings, and program development to achieve department goals. Maintain current licensure, BLS certification, and driver's license for this part-time role (24/week) in Billings, Montana, with flexible weekday shifts and ongoing specialty training access.
Required Qualifications
- Current Physical Therapist license in states where you work
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Current driver's license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record
- Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy
- Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients
- Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items
- Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment
- Often required to navigate crowded and busy rooms (full of equipment, power cords on the floor, etc)
- Expected to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time
- Must be able to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies
- Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations
- Must be available for flexible weekday shifts - no weekends or holidays
- Must be able to work part-time schedule (24/week)

- Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items
- Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment. This includes pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment, including heavy items. Often required to navigate crowded and busy rooms (full of equipment, power cords on the floor, etc)
- Expected to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time
- Basic computer skills
