Job Summary
Assess and treat patients with comprehensive, functional evaluations and realistic treatment plans while recognizing changes in physiologic states. Supervise support staff, maintain accurate documentation including progress notes and ICD-10 codes, and ensure quality outcomes. Adjust schedules to meet patient needs, participate in process management to optimize efficiency, and research evidence-based practices to improve care. Communicate professionally with patients, physicians, and staff, and promote professional development through training and committee representation.
Required Qualifications
- B.S., M.S., or D.P.T degree from accredited physical therapy school
- Current licensure in the state of applicable state
- CPR certification in Basic Life Support, Level C
- Monday through Friday, normal business hours with some weekend and holiday requirements
