Job Summary
Evaluate patients' needs for physical therapy and develop appropriate treatment plans based on physician care plans and professional standards. Provide care and treatment to patients while instructing family members, PTAs, and caregivers in appropriate techniques. Manage caseloads to deliver thoughtful, individualized treatment within a multidisciplinary environment featuring state-of-the-art equipment. Maintain mandatory First Aid, AED, and CPR certifications. This role offers a mentorship program, leadership development, and a funded OCS residency partnership.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of New York or eligible
- 3+ Years of experience as a licensed physical therapist
- Ability to evaluate a patient's need for physical therapy and develop an appropriate treatment plan
- Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan, agency policy and professional standards of care
- Experience instructing family members, PTA's, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate physical therapy techniques
- Mandatory Certifications: First Aid, AED, & CPR Certifications
