Job Summary
Screen, test, evaluate, diagnose, and treat injuries, diseases, and disabilities using physical therapy procedures and modalities. Consult with and educate patients and their caregivers on treatment plans, exercise regimens, and home strategies to restore independence. Perform initial and ongoing assessments, determine patient ability to reintegrate into the workplace or community, and document all clinical findings. Work onsite at Intermountain Health Holy Rosary Hospital in Miles City, Montana, providing comprehensive rehabilitation services to both outpatient and acute care patients.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor, Masters, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
- Active Montana state Physical Therapist licensure
- Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association
- Regular attendance to perform work on site during regularly scheduled business hours or scheduled shifts
- Knowledge of physical therapy principles, standards, and applications
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
- Highly organized and analytical
- Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism
- A team player who handles multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment
