Job Summary

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat musculoskeletal and movement disorders using evidence-based techniques to help patients move better and recover faster. Create personalized care plans, educate patients and caregivers for long-term success, and collaborate with care teams to deliver patient-centered outcomes. Provide one-on-one treatment without assistants, maintain thorough patient records, and meet established productivity standards. Work Mon-Thurs 7a-5:30p and Fri 7a-11:30a for 40 hours weekly with no call or weekend shifts. Join our outpatient Physical Therapy team at St. Vincent Regional Hospital where ongoing training in specialties like vestibular and neuro is available.

Required Qualifications

  • Current Physical Therapist license in states where you work
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
  • Current driver's license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record
  • Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy
  • Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients
  • Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items
  • Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment
  • Often required to navigate crowded and busy rooms (full of equipment, power cords on the floor, etc)
  • Expected to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time
  • Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies
  • Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Possess skill sets and experience with target population of job setting
  • Basic Computer skills
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
  • Current Physical Therapist license in states where you work
