Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments of patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices for individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. Implement therapeutic interventions including active and passive exercises, muscle re-education, and functional training while educating patients and families on care plans. Maintain regular communication with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and utilize electronic medical records systems to document progress accurately. Work onsite Monday through Friday with mentorship support for new graduates.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure to practice in California
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association
- Understanding of orthopedic assessments and treatment strategies specific to physical therapy
