Job Summary
Conduct objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients under general supervision of Therapy Leadership. Provide direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision to rehabilitation technicians, while overseeing PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts. Perform duties consistent with Mercy Service Standards, including pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly during prolonged standing and walking shifts. Requires current Physical Therapy licensure in Missouri, BLS certification, and a Master's or Doctorate degree. Available for 8, 10, or 12-hour day shifts at Mercy Hospital Lincoln in Troy, MO.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy
- Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice
- BLS certified
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
- Ability to stand and walk during each shift
Desired Qualifications
- Six months to one year experience
- Experience with care for adult and geriatric patients
